About Rosen Art Gallery
A Celebration of Life and Art
This gallery is more than just a collection of images – it is a tribute to life in all its depth, beauty, and fleeting moments. It was born in the winter of 2020, a time when the world stood still, and so did we. Struck by loss, uncertainty, and the weight of goodbye, we came face to face with life’s fragility.
But life had other plans. A second chance was granted, and with it, a newfound purpose. We rebuilt, we gave back – supporting Ukrainian children, refugees, and those in need. And in the midst of it all, the most beautiful creation of all came into our world -our daughter, Adeline-Rose Rosen. This gallery is our love letter to her, a lasting gift woven with light, colour, and emotion.
As photographers, we had spent years capturing moments for others but had never turned the lens toward our own artistic souls. The stillness of lockdown awakened something within us – the desire to create, not just for work, but for passion. What you see here is the result: a collection of fine art photography, born from a promise to embrace life, create with purpose, and share beauty in its purest form.
Our dream is to grow this gallery into a global, family-led artistic space, where not only our work but the voices of emerging artists can find a home. This is just the beginning. Our art will continue to evolve, bringing warmth, depth, and soul to those who welcome it into their lives.
Welcome to our world of art – where every image is a heartbeat, and every piece is a story waiting to be felt.
The Artists Behind the Lens
You may wonder who we are. We are Peter Rosen and Petya Abraham – husband and wife, storytellers, and the creators behind Peter Lane Photography and Peter Lane Studios. Photography is not just our craft; it is the language we speak, the air we breathe, and the emotions we translate into visual poetry.
Petya, my incredible wife, is an award-winning photographer and cinematographer. Her work goes beyond aesthetics – she captures meaning, depth, and the unspoken stories within every frame. Art is her playground, and she thrives in experimentation.
As for me, I believe photography is an emotion, not a competition. I rarely enter awards unless they serve a greater purpose, such as charity. Art is not about winning – it is about feeling, about connection, about leaving something behind that speaks long after we are gone.
Our journey continues with new artistic projects and exhibitions. Mary Magdalene fine art nude project explores love, pride, dignity, and the weight of double standards. “Silence”, the upcoming project, is a deeply personal reflection on tinnitus awareness, accompanied by my upcoming book, Tinnitus is Not a Verdict – The Cure is Available.
This is who we are – artists, seekers, and creators of moments that speak beyond words.
The Art Behind the Artist
My photography is an artistic journey – a visual narrative filled with poetry, emotion, and timeless beauty. Every fine art photograph I create is crafted with intent, designed to evoke feeling and provoke thought.
As a psychologist, my work goes beyond aesthetics; it delves into the complexities of human nature, translating social and psychological phenomena into visual form. Through my fine art projects, I explore emotions, societal challenges, and the human search for meaning, striving to offer not just artistic expression but also a deeper understanding, solutions, and a path to well-being.
Inspired by the world around me, my work blends artistic vision with psychological insight, bringing awareness to unseen narratives. Whether capturing the elegance of black and white imagery or crafting conceptual fine art pieces, I aim to push creative boundaries with every project.
Collaboration is at the heart of my fine art photography. Together with my wife, Petya Abraham, I explore new artistic ideas, challenge conventions, and elevate photography into a medium of expression beyond the ordinary.
With over 18 years of experience, my career has taken me across the USA, Spain, Russia, and the UK, each culture enriching my artistic perspective. My approach is always evolving, yet one thing remains constant – my passion for creating images that leave a lasting impact.
Petya Abraham is the creative inspiration, shaping an evolution into a multifaceted photography and cinematography fuse. A passionate fine art photographer and visual storyteller, she brings depth and emotion to every project, blending artistic expression with thought-provoking narratives.
In 2024, Petya’s fine art and video work gained widespread recognition, with multiple awards and exhibitions. She was honoured as a finalist by the Association of Photographers (AOP) of Great Britain, and her fine art project “Fall In” was published in the prestigious AOP book, now available in our online store. Her video project “Time Grinder” also earned significant acclaim.
WHAT MAKES OUR HEARTS BEAT?
Petya: My daughter, cinematic films that resonate deeply (Wings of Desire or Leon), books and authors that spark inspiration (Ray Bradbury and Isaac Asimov), art, and photography. I love exploring all possible forms and media to express my vision in creative projects, and I am always drawn to the elegance of simplicity and minimalism.
Peter: My daughter, old movies like The Shawshank Redemption or Beautiful Woman, fine art, and photography. I enjoy working with fisheye lenses to create exaggerated perspectives, exploring symbolism and contrasts, uncovering hidden meanings, and developing expansive panoramic projects.
